Ayoola Sogbesan is an accomplished banker and senior executive in the tech space with over a decade of experience spanning electronic banking, digital channels management, and product strategy. His career began in the microfinance sector, where he excelled in fraud detection, trend analysis, and operational compliance at AB Microfinance Bank. He played a key role in identifying unauthorized activities through data-driven insights and enhancing the integrity of the bank’s visa application verification processes using GCMS.
Transitioning into digital banking, Ayoola has led strategic initiatives in e-channels management, focusing on customer experience, operational efficiency, and security compliance. He has successfully driven the onboarding of multi-factor authentication (MFA) for mobile banking, strengthened token adoption and regulatory compliance, and overseen the resolution of complex NIP, POS, and card service issues. As a channel manager, he continues to influence product innovation, enhance digital service delivery, and lead change management programs through staff training and process improvement.
Beyond banking, he serves as the District Cabinet Treasurer for Lions Clubs International District 404B2 Nigeria, where he promotes financial transparency, accountability, and leadership development within the organization.
