How I help mentees
To provide value mostly in the area of managerial skills, by showing the mentee different levels of management approach.
Which includes, behavioural approach, Quantitative approach,Scientificapproach,Sodo Technical approach, Economics approach and other areas of school of thought in management.
This will enable them to have understanding of what it takes to be a manager.
Also,show them the levels of emotional intelligence requires to be a manager,the Interpersonal skills required to thrive as a manager and their social currency.
Key accomplishments
I started my career as a relationship officer at Advans Lafayette MFB, where i had responsibility of customers acquisition, Loan Disbursement, deposits mobilisation, PAR management, customers relationship management etc. I was able to build my portfolio overtime, which aided my promotion on the job as an SME relationship manager.
As a SME relationship Officer, I was saddled with the responsibility of meeting with a very HNI customers,build their business while building the portfolio of the bank. This also lead to the promotion to the position of a Team Manager.
As a Team manager, I was assigned different numbers of Relationship Officers. The responsibility is to manage their activities, ensure they meet their set targets and other objectives. This led to my promotion as a branch manager.
As a branch manager,I coordinate the operation of the bank, manage the respective team under me, creat Team bonding, align the objectives of the bank to the team,ensure individual team achieve their objectives. This made the branch to have an award in year 2022. As the best performing bank of the year.
I have also worked with Zedvance Finance as a Regional Business Associates SME.
Currently at Unilag mfbank as a Branch Head.
