Presently, as Head of Human Capital Management, I have been able to carry out in-house and external trainings for all category of staff for personal and career development in the establishment. The outcome of the training was very successful as I gave opportunities to team members to do presentations and discovered talents in them. I conduct recruitment and selection of candidates to fill roles and manage the payroll system, appraisals and other KPIs. The experience has been very positive especially in the aspect of training as it has shaped the characters of staff as they are tailored towards their needs. As a treasury manager, I ensured all my interbank reconciliations were up to date on daily basis, I led the team that reconciled the outstanding un reconciled item in our books some years back. I also managed all branch operations bank wide for optimal operations and service delivery. As a cash officer, I ensured cash in and out of the vault were confirmed and all operational procedures were followed strictly. As a customer service officer, I enjoyed my role as it gave me opportunities to meet people and deliver quality services to our customers. I ensured no customer left my desk unsatisfied no matter how he came into the bank. Though, in handling irate customers, I learnt interpersonal skills and it stood me out. As an internal control officer for Head Office and Branch, I coordinated the services of outsourced staff, internal staff, and external. It's difficult to deal with human beings but with peoples management skills, I was able to guide them with the policies, and sanction when necessary. I managed the stock of stationaries, machineries, supplies, products etc to maintain standard at all times and ensure compliance to regulations.
