How I help mentees
Interpersonal skills helped me to interact with the bankers in a good way that ensured that i was professional. It offered me opportunity to relate very well with most of the bankers who were the ambassadors of our programmes and schemes. I still have some good rapport with most of them, though retired. Mostly, it was clear to me that intelligence get me hired, but it is Interpersonal skills that would get me promoted.
Key accomplishments
Started banking career February 15, 1993. Joined the Apex Bank in December 5,2011 and retired April 8, 2024. I served in committees that developed policies in the Apex Bank that bought about some financial facilities offered to various industries under the Development Finance department of the Apex Bank. Some of the facilities, like the health sector loans, manufacturing etc helped to shape those industries in a better way today in Nigeria.
