I will love to assist young bankers to focus on developing their careers early by taking professional qualifications and certifications early in their career.

Key accomplishments

I am a multi-skilled professional with over two decades experience in the Banking sector and Microfinance sub-sector. I have expertise in Accounting, Banking Finance and Business Management/Administration. I am a double Chartered Banker; Associate and Microfinance Certified Banker of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria.
Currently, I am the Head of Finance/Admin at the NLNG COOP Microfinance Bank (COOPFUND Microfinance Bank Limited). I oversee all financial management activities and accounting functions of the Bank and ensure prudence and conservativeness in financial management to ensure profitability of the business. Also coordinate the bank’s administration system and general workflows for smooth operations.
Previously, I was a staff of Citibank Nigeria. I joined at entry level in year 2000 and grew through the ranks across different job functions and culminated as a Branch Operations Manager, providing managerial oversight of all branch activities to achieve efficient and effective running of banking operations to ensure customer satisfaction, in addition to providing support services to other units of the Bank. My experience spans through clearing, customer service, cash and tellers, compliance and trade support services and regulatory reporting.
I am committed to continuous professional development, leadership and service excellence. I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration programme (DBA Management) in Human Resources and Strategic Management at the University of Port Harcourt Business School, to broaden my knowledge of advanced analytical, human resources and strategic leadership skills while continuing my ICAN Certifications
