Charles’ 25-year professional experience in the Banking & Financial Services and Management Consulting industry spans Banking Operations, Financial Control, Credit, Marketing, Relationship Management, Business Development, Risk Management and Management Consulting.
He worked at Allstates Trust Bank (now Ecobank Nigeria Plc), CreditRegistry Corporation (CR Credit Bureau Services Plc), FSDH Merchant Bank as Head of Credit Risk Management and Credit Administration and Paelyt Solutions Ltd (Fintech) as Chief Risk Officer (CRO)/Chief Operating Officer (COO). Charles is currently the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Jubilee-Life Mortgage Bank Plc.
He graduated from Enugu State University with a B.Sc. in Accountancy and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Lagos Business School (LBS).
He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Risk Management Institute (CRMI), an Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN), a Fellow of the National Institute of Credit Administration (NICA) and a Fellow of the Association of Enterprise Risk Management Professionals (AERMP).
Charles is a Sports Coach and Personal Development Coach, a student of John C. Maxwell Leadership, a student of Stephen R. Covey (Seven Habits of Highly Effective People & The 8th Habit) and an alumnus of the School of Politics, Policy and Governance (SPPG).
Charles works in partnership with H.Pierson, DCSL, Afrinvest Consulting, IBFC Alliance, Lagos Business School (LBS), Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC), for training and consulting engagements with NNPC, NIMASA, Nigeria Ports Authority (NPA), GTBank, FCMB, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Skye Capital, FSDH Merchant Bank, Parallex Bank, Polaris Bank and Wema Bank.
