How I help mentees
I would like to help mentees by sharing practical insights from my experience in building and leading technology-driven organizations within Nigeria’s financial ecosystem. I can provide guidance on product development, regulatory compliance, and innovation in digital payments and financial inclusion. Beyond technical and business knowledge, I hope to help mentees build leadership capacity, develop strategic thinking, and navigate challenges associated with entrepreneurship and career growth in the FinTech and technology sectors. My goal is to support them in translating ideas into scalable solutions and in positioning themselves for long-term impact and success.
Key accomplishments
Previously, while with a company I co-founded, Madsuite Technologies, I initially worked as a Software Product and Project Manager, leading the development of financial payment solutions and other technology-driven innovations. I later became the Managing Director, overseeing strategic growth and product delivery. Prior to that, I served with the Nigerian Navy Naval Dockyard as an IT Analyst. Currently, I serve as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer and a shareholder of Airvend Payment Services Ltd, the pioneer license holder of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s categorized 3-in-1 Payment Solution Services (PSSP, PTSP, and Super Agent). In this role, I continue to drive innovation, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote financial inclusion within Nigeria’s digital economy. I am a Payments and FinTech leader with over eight years of expertise in transaction platforms, PayFac acquiring, certifications, and regulatory compliance. I hold a B.Sc. in Computer Science and an MBA with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence. I am a committed professional and a Member of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), a Senior Honorary Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), and a Member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). I also hold certifications in Agile Project Management, Cybersecurity, and related disciplines.
