My multidisciplinary experience of over 30 years was gained in various industries that span across banking, education, engineering, pharmaceutical and real
estate.
I had about 2 years employment in Jay Kay Pharmacy founded by Mr Jimmy Agbaje. I was employed in 1991 to 1992 as an Account officer in the company.
Thereafter, I was also employed as an Account Supervisor in Shield Securities and Finance from 1992 - 1993.
Subsequently, I was engaged as a Senior Accountant in Lordmart Nigeria Limited foundly called Lordmart Generator, a multinational company established by Mr Nathan Kalaora, an Israeli in 2001 and resigned after 8 years from 1993 - 2001.
Thereafter, I joined Dalewares Nigeria Limited as a Financial controller for 14 months from 2001 - 2003 before moving into the banking industry. The company grew in leaps and bounds operationally and financially during my stints as the financial controller.
I also worked briefly in Crossover Saving and Loans as the financial controller in 2011.
I worked for 9 years in 4 differents banks, Citizens International Banks, Spring International Bank, Oceanic International Bank and WEMA Bank as internal control officers and left banking in 2009 earlier but returned back and left finally in 2012 at WEMA Bank.
I had 3 years solid experience as the pioneer EDGM, Audit & Compliance of an NGO from 2012 - 2015 before migrating my service into Michael & Cecilia Ibru University, a private University as the pioneer Director, Audit and Compliance and completed a term of 5 years from 2015 -2020 in the private University located at Delta State where millions of naira were saved through effective internal control system and robust negotiation system in place.
I also became a governing council member of the University. I represented the Non-Academic staff of the University in the council from 2017 to 2019.
I was also engaged as a Director, Audit and Compliance in CPA, prestigious audit firm in Lagos in 2021.
Thereafter, I was engaged as the executive Managing Director of Assetrise Limited. Due to quest to complete my PHD programme in Finance, I moved into a lesser role as a Subsidiary MD of Assetrise Golden Jubilee in the company from 2023 to date on an entrepreneurship basis.
I founded Assetchoice Limited in 2026 at the Managing Director.
I rendered selfless services to 3 of the professional bodies I belong. I had robust relationship and with these 3 different professional bodies as an examiner and assessor for these various institutes:
1. Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM) - MNIM, 2008.
2. Chartered Institute of Accountant (ICAN) - ACA, 2001, FCA, 2013.
3. Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN), ACIB, 2002, FCIB, 2017.
1. Examiner in Financial Management with NIM - 2010.
2. Assessor in Advance Audit and Assurance with ICAN - 2011 - 2012.
3. Assessor in Management, Governance and Ethics Advance Audit with ICAN - 2013 - 2017.
4. Assessor in Corporate Strategic Management & Ethics with ICAN - 2018 - 2025.
5. Assessor in Financial Management with ICAN - 2025 to Date.
Finally, further to my over 30 years exposure, work experiences and multidisciplinary role in accounting, finance, education and also having previously served as a youth pastor for 11 years in RCCG, the prestigious role of a mentor in our prestigious is well deserving position for me.
