Key accomplishments
Eyeing to build from scratch or lead to Unicorn. Currently working with QuickCheck as the Managing Director (Nigeria), leading the strategic business expansion of 3x GLP and PBT, -10p CoF, and -2x reduction in NPL with a team of over 100 people across different continents. QuickCheck is a Nigerian fintech startup, a credit-led neobank that aims to provide the preferred banking experience to underserved entrepreneurs in frontier markets. Led strategic team in two frontier fintech banks (Carbon and FairMoney) as Head of Compliance and Head of Internal Control respectively. Knowledge search led to SIFAX Group where I served as Group Compliance Manager (Maritime, Aviation, Financial Service, Haulage, Logistics and Hospitality). My banking career started with Skye Bank Plc as a Resident Compliance Officer and rose to Regional Compliance Officer within two years covering 47 branches/cash centres in Oyo and Ogun States. Also, I served as the Head, Internal Audit and Compliance of Baines Credit where I led the strategic business process re-engineering and digital transformation team of the Bank.
