How I help mentees
With previous experience in mentoring and coaching of NYSC/SEAD members, Undergraduates from Universities who are members of Investment Clubs, if given the opportunity to mentor candidates from CIBN, would be seamless, easy and very productive since I have been doing this for almost a decade. Exposing them to (1) reality of workplace vs campus life (2) managing your line managers and colleagues with understanding of emotional intelligence (3) deploying the tools for a better customer relationship management by knowing how to profile your clients without even siting close to them (4) Cold and Hot phone calls that closes business and lastly (5) skills required in Customer retention (6) Marketing and Sales as a way of life and not just a career.
Key accomplishments
almost two decades of experience in Banking and now investment banking with indept knowledge of both Commercial and Investment Banking and the Nigerian Capital Market. Experience in Leading a team, mentoring, coaching and a financial literacy facilitator (for the Securities and Exchange Commission), deploying tools under emotional intelligence in relating with both internal and external customers. I have also been a financial planning facilitator in conjunction with NYSC/SAED programme, training Corp members for over 5 years at both Lagos and Ogun orientation camps. As a Senior Vice President and member of the Fund Manager Association of Nigeria (FMAN), mentoring undergraduates of various University Ambassadors in Nigeria, in the area of Finance, Tax and Management.
