Leveraging on my diverse banking and deposit insurance experience, I can provide insight into different leadership and management style in banking and finance sector.
Key accomplishments
over twenty years’ experience in banking operations, deposit insurance, bank liquidation, and Research & Policy Analysis; this spans across Intercity Bank (now Unity bank), Ecobank, and FCMB before joining the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC, in 2013.
Participated in the NDIC Debt Recovery Policy Review; Involved in designing the Bank Liquidation Accounting and Management application; worked in the committee for the review of NDIC framework for financial and technical assistance; special taskforce on banks in liquidation; formulation of specialized winding-up rules for failed insured institutions.
Represented the Corporation in technical committees and working groups in NDIC, CBN and Community of African Banking Supervisors – a subsidiary of the Association of African Central Banks etc. I have also participated in the Financial Stability Institute’s Bank Crisis Simulation Project for Africa.
