How I help mentees
I would like to support mentees in three key areas: clarity, competence, and character.
Clarity: helping them define who they are, what they stand for, and the kind of leaders they aspire to become. Many young professionals struggle not from lack of talent, but from lack of direction. I want to help them think strategically about their growth.
Competence: equipping them with practical leadership skills such as accountability, execution discipline, stakeholder management, and decision-making under pressure. Leadership is not theoretical; it is practiced daily through responsibility.
Character: reinforcing the importance of integrity, resilience, emotional intelligence, and consistency. Titles may open doors, but character sustains influence.
I aim to provide honest guidance, structured feedback, and real-life insights drawn from experience to help mentees grow intentionally and lead responsibly.
Key accomplishments
I am a strategy and product leader within the financial services sector, with extensive experience leading cross-functional teams and driving high-impact initiatives across retail and emerging segments.
Beyond commercial delivery, a core part of my career has been mentoring and developing young professionals — particularly those transitioning from early career stages into positions of responsibility. I have intentionally created environments where young team members are not only given targets, but are coached on ownership, accountability, decision-making, and long-term thinking.
Throughout my leadership journey, I have:
Led diverse teams and groomed emerging leaders to take on expanded responsibilities.
Provided structured and informal mentorship focused on discipline, ethical leadership, resilience, and performance excellence.
Guided young professionals on balancing ambition with character — emphasizing that leadership is as much about responsibility as it is about results.
Championed youth-focused initiatives that equip young people with financial knowledge, confidence, and structured growth pathways.
Encouraged a culture of feedback, continuous learning, and deliberate personal development.
I strongly believe leadership is a responsibility before it is a title. My approach to mentorship centers on helping young professionals understand that competence, character, and consistency form the foundation of sustainable leadership.
