I joined the bank when I was doing my one year industrial attachment far back in the year 2005,I got converted to core staff in the 2012. I got converted because I did not limit myself . I was persistent in getting to the top by pursuing career development .I recently added compliance certification to my career accomplishment because I perceived the banks and other organizations are going into that direction..

How I help mentees

To help mentees build there career and understand that been a leader does not mean one is free from been responsible. A leader leads by example, a leader set pace, build direction, build confidence in your teammates . Been accountable is essential, a leader must have high level leadership integrity and must not joke with it. A leader must set standard because culture starts from the top from punctuality to work ethic.

Key accomplishments

I joined the bank as a teller in the year 2006 and got converted to core staff in 2012, I have worked virtually in all unit in operation prior to my conversion. I worked as teller , customer service inputter and funds transfer officer . I worked as a MICR Officer for 3years for southwest 1 region. I also worked as Head of customers service for 4years with 5 subordinates as my team member, I ensure all customers are attended to promptly while we ensure due diligence and worked with TAT, deliver exceptional and excellent service for customers satisfaction. We also ensure we treat all customers request with high level of confidentiality bearing in mind that data privacy is key and can leads to litigation if not guided. I proceeded to cash officer role with 6 team member , I am saddened with monitoring and supervision of all tellers cash activities and also manage 5 ATM machines, deliver 24/7 cash dispense to satisfy our customers needs . I became head of operations in the year 2022 and this has given me room to be more responsive in my job role. Attending to all complaints from internal and external customers takes wisdom and managing team member with different backgrounds to get desired and expected results.
