I started out in 1998 in operations, and was instrumental to the reconciliation of all outstanding ledgers in my unit during the bank's cut over to a new software. I volunteered to work on both day and night shifts at a point to meet timeline. I was also a part of the team that executed the bank's expansion project in year 2000, pioneering the bank's branch in Asaba, Delta State
When I crossed over to marketing, I net zero staff and near zero balance sheet, as all the members of the team resigned to join another bank and moved all major accounts. My newly formed team rebuilt the business back to profitability in 6months
All through my marketing career, I have met and exceeded my balance sheet and profitability targets long before the end of the year barring a few years.
I have mentored and groomed several young colleagues on professionalism and work ethics that has helped them to be successful in their career. I also mentor a young group and some individuals on financial discipline.
