AKANIMO furthered his education at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he earned a Master in Banking and Finance (MBF) in 2021 and currently running another Master's Degree programme in Islamic Banking and Finance at the Bayero University, Kano (BUK). His professional career began in 2009 at the defunct Bank PHB Plc now Keystone Bank Limited. In 2022, he joined the defunct Heritage Bank Limited, in search of progress and growth, he joined TAJBank Limited in April, 2024 where he is currently serving as the Head – Cluster Compliance and Control. A devoted Christian, AKANIMO is happily married to OJOCHIDE AKANIMO, and they are blessed with three lovely children. He enjoys studying and watching football in his leisure time.
