IBANGA AKANIMO ENO, FCIFC was born on January 20 in Ikot-Ekpene Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, AKANIMO is a seasoned professional with a strong background in Internal control, Compliance and Cybersecurity. He began his education at Methodist Central School, Ikot-Udo Offiong, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1993. He proceeded to Igwebuike Grammar School, Awka, where he earned his West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate in 1999. He was later admitted to Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, where he studied Banking and Finance and graduated with a Second-Class Upper Division in 2006. AKANIMO furthered his education at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he earned a Master in Banking and Finance (MBF) in 2021 and currently running another Master's Degree programme in Islamic Banking and Finance at the Bayero University, Kano (BUK). His professional career began in 2009 at the defunct Bank PHB Plc now Keystone Bank Limited. In 2022, he joined the defunct Heritage Bank Limited, in search of progress and growth, he joined TAJBank Limited in April, 2024 where he is currently serving as the Head – Cluster Compliance and Control. A devoted Christian, AKANIMO is happily married to OJOCHIDE AKANIMO, and they are blessed with three lovely children. He enjoys studying and watching football in his leisure time. AKANIMO’s favorite quote is “THE OBJECT IN WAR IS NOT TO DIE FOR YOUR COUNTRY BUT TO GET MEN TO DIE FOR THEIR CONTRY”.
