Kikanwa Akpenyi is a Senior Director in charge of Audit and Advisory at Ha-Shem Limited and a seasoned transformation consultant. With over two decades in banking and other regulated sectors, she specializes in CX Optimisation (Service Quality Management, Contact Centre, Complaints Management, Customer Insights & Analytics), Capacity Development, Process Improvement, Internal Controls and Audit across the banking and other regulated industries. She is known for translating strategy into measurable outcomes through hands-on leadership, skill development, effective resource management and technology-enabled process optimisation. Her career includes senior leadership roles at Skye Bank (Now Polaris Bank Limited) and Heritage Bank, where she served as Group Head, Customer Experience & Analytics; Group Head, Internal Control; and Chief Audit Executive Previously, as Lead Consultant at Yashua Cares Limited, she successfully led business transformation projects for several clients. A notable achievement includes leading initiatives that significantly improved her bank’s KPMG Customer Experience ranking in 2020. She was also instrumental to the launch of Financial Literacy for Schools in Nigeria, one of the key Financial Inclusion strategies by the Central Bank of Nigeria. She holds Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Economics, an MBA from Bangor University (Wales), and is a Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB) and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA, UK). She is an active leader within the Association of Professional Women Bankers, the female wing of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN), having held several Executive Committee roles, including Social and Publicity Secretary (2019-2023), Financial Secretary (2023-2025) and Honorary Secretary (2025-2027). Recognised as a collaborative and hands-on leader, she is passionate about people empowerment, continuous development, and innovation, earning a reputation as a mentor, role model, and pioneer in her field.

AJAYI, Wasiu Adekunle. Prince Adekunle Abdul-Wasiu Ajayi hails from Epe local Government of Lagos state origin. He had his primary education at Solomon Memorial primary school, Epe and attended the prestigious Epe Grammar School, Epe Lagos state. He is a seasoned banker, Accountant, Financial Data Analyst and Academic person to the cur. Wasiu Adekunle Ajayi graduated from Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo, Lagos with a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Accounting. He also possesses a graduate degree certificate in Data Analyst (Second Class Upper) from the Chartered Institute of Data Processing and Management of Nigeria (IDPMN) with statutory induction as an Associate member of the same institute. Additionally, Wasiu being versatile also bagged a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in financial management from LASU. Professionally, he is an Associate member of Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM-Chartered), Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN) and prestigiously admitted as a Member of the National Institute of Credit Administration (MICA). Wasiu has a rich background in Bank Treasury management, Correspondence Banking, Corporate Banking, Bank operation management and Marketing. He started his working career with defunct Epe Community Microfinance Bank as the Bank Accountant/Head of Operation. He worked with Zenith Bank Plc as a Marketing staff and subsequently joined FCMB Plc and Keystone Bank Plc respectively in the same capacity. Whilst pursuing his career growth and development, he diversified his experience into the Construction as a Project Accountant with R.S.K & Feyi (Nig.) Limited and also with INSIGNIA PRINTS (LFTZ) TECHNOLOGY a sister company to DUFIL the producer of indome noodles as a Finance/Account officer before returning to the banking sector with IBILE MICROFINANCE BANK LIMITED as an Internal Control officer in Internal Control and Compliance Department and until recently redeployed to Risk Management Department (Credit Administration) in the same bank. At IBILE MFB LIMITED as a Credit Administration Officer where he was drawn heavily on his rich background, exposure and expertise in Finance, Marketing and Internal Control/Risk management, Wasiu’s insight into Credit Risk Management and Credit Administration is not only uncommon but astonishing where he is part of the Risk management department team that developed a woman friendly WIFI product tagged IBILE-NEYBOR and IBILE POS MERCHANT which is currently earning the bank a glowing popularity in the Microfinance Banking circuit via financial inclusion objective. He is a Certified Microfinance Practioneer of Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (MCP-CIBN) with Ordinary National Diploma (OND) certificate holder from Lagos State Cooperative College, Oko Oba, Agege - Lagos. In the course of his career, he has built skills, expertise and experience in: Credit Administration, Credit Portfolio management, Loan Monitoring and control; Earlier Warnings Indicators as Credit Risk, Financial Statement Analysis and Modelling, Loan appraisal and structuring and visualize Data to backed up credit appraisals. Taiwo Joda is the Managing Director/CEO of Accion Microfinance Bank (www.accionmfb.com) . A transformational leader with over 25 years leadership experience in finance and banking, he has led Accion for more than eight years, establishing a distinguished track record in financial inclusion, strategic execution, and digital transformation. Professionally, Taiwo is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB), a Fellow of the Nigeria Institute of Management (FNIM), and a member of the Chartered Institute of Directors (MCIoD). His industry leadership includes member, Governing Council, Chartered Institute of bankers of Nigeria (CIBN), serving as Vice Chairman of the Microfinance Learning and Development Center (MLDC) Board and on the Steering Committee of the National Microfinance Platform. He previously chaired the Lagos State chapter of the National Association of Microfinance Banks (2020-2022) and served on the Governing Council of the Fintech Association of Nigeria (2018-2021). His strategic vision has garnered significant recognition, including the Microfinance Bank CEO of the Year award (2022, 2025). Under his leadership, Accion MFB was named Microfinance Bank of the Year in 2022, 2024, and 2025, receiving international acclaim for technological innovation. Taiwo holds a BSc and an MBA in Finance and Banking from the University of Lagos. He is an alumnus of the Advanced Management and Leadership Programme at Oxford University's Saïd Business School, CEP (Chief executive Program) of Lagos Business School, Gordon Institute of Business Science and is currently a Doctoral Research Student at the University of Lagos. Outside of work, Taiwo (affectionately called TJ) is an avid golfer and served as Captain of the Ikeja Golf Club (2021-2022).
